10 Learning  Apps For CBC Kids In Kenya

Learning  is an important key factor in the proper mental growth and development  of a child. A child is born without knowledge of anything (tabular raza) . Which are the best learning apps for our children? We are in the 21st century and almost everything is operated digitally. It is important therefore to understand the best education apps. We shall discuss a few of those apps in this article.

The following apps help the child have a good learning experience:

1.The Squawk Block

The block simply involves arranging  numbers to form a specific pattern. Arranging them makes the learner  think critically sharpening his or her skills. It makes learning  easy because the learner enjoys solving the numbers. 

2.The Crossword  Puzzle

The app mostly involves grammar. The learner has a given set of questions. The answers  to  the questions have to fit in the blocks. The app gives hints in case the learner encounters any problem. This makes learning better and friendly to the learner.

3.Art and Colours App

The app involves drawings. The learner has to match the drawing to a specific colour. Different lines and shapes help the learner have fine art. This helps the learner associate different objects by their specific colour. For example, painting hair in black colour.

4.Animations

The app has animated cartoons that teach young learners. They deliver a specific topic. For example, Akili kids teach Maths and languages .The characters are just fictitious so as to make the learner comfortable and happy. The app helps the learner have a wide scope of  knowledge as the learner gets to practise. The continuous repetition and fun makes the learning  process worthwhile. 

5.Superbook Stories

The app involves stories (hadithis), and bible scriptures. The app is set to accommodate reading according to age. This means a kid and an adult have different sets of books. The books are also arranged differently according to the learners tastes. It has fairy tales,bedtime stories,adventures and many others. The learner is therefore comfortable and gets to have all the exposure needed.

The app also guides the learner on spellings.

6.English Dictionary

The application helps a learner with grammar problems. The learner simply keys in the word he or she wishes to know the meaning. Moreso the dictionary guides the learner on the proper spelling of  words. The dictionary is fitted with google voice. It helps the learner understand  the pronunciation of a word. The learner also understands  the importance of the animal. The app describes the animal in detail. The learner is able to follow and understand. The app associates the animal with the sound and behaviour. For example, a pig produces the sound oink! oink! The pig is also mostly associated  with dirty places.

8.Khan Academy Application

This is a platform that has notes, tutorials and questions involving different  subjects. The learner just searches the heading. The pdf notes are written in a comprehensive manner. The learner just reads the notes to boost the understanding. The notes also have diagrams and pictures. They help boost the understanding of the learner. The app also has video tutorials. The tutorials help elaborate the given subject better. For example, the learner wants to learn about different  species of animals. The tutorials bring all the animal species.

The application also has set questions. The learner has a way of gauging his or her understanding. The questions come with solutions. The solutions  are explained to boost the learners' understanding. They set the questions following the examination protocols. This helps to familiarise the learner in tackling exam questions.

The application allows the learner to download all types of books with minimal data usage. The learner just downloads the books and can read them anytime even when offline. The application allows adjustments. For example,the learner can adjust the font size and brightness. This helps the learner read the ebooks at his or her own comfort and convenience.

Moreover if the learner has forgotten the author or title, he or she just has to search for the trending words. The learner uses the navigation keys to move to different pages. The learner can also underline the keyword phrases. The light readers also give a way of helping the learners in case of any issues.

The application mostly deals with mathematics questions. The application teaches learners math tricks to increase their speed in calculating questions. The application has ruled the frequently tested questions. This helps master the skills of the given questions. It also helps prevent using bulky and tedious formulas. Knowing the tricks helps save a lot of time.

Moreover, it is easy to download the application. The learner just gets to the Playstore and types it. The app requires just a few bundles. The learner who benefits from the tricks easily outshines his or her friends. For example, the learner can notice the continuous trend in multiplying numbers. The skills can be used in schools, colleges, shops, stores and even at homes. Furthermore the app has a timer. The timer helps the learner increase his or her speed in solving different math questions. 


       

 It is evident there are plenty of apps that children can learn. The learner can easily access and use the applications. The apps use the method and language that the learner will understand. Sure enough learning does not only take place in schools only. Even at the comfort of home the learner can still get educated.
